The show had been put together after months of hard work and practice. The group of students also included a few students of foreign origin who got a taste of the Indian Culture by performing in this celebration of the good over the evil. Renowned Gynaecologist Dr. Abha Majumdar was the Guest of Honour for the occasion.
Commenting on the two hour spectacle put together Dr. Abha Majumdar said, “I congratulate Aadyant Global School and the kids for putting together such a brilliant performance. This is a unique way to get these young kids to learn about our culture and history in an interesting manner.”
The School’s principle, Ms. Nidhi Mathur could not hide her elation on seeing the students perform so well. Talking like a proud mother, she said, “We at Aadyant believe it is important for children to express themselves by various art forms to grow into a holistic personality. Ramleela provided us an excellent opportunity to connect these young kids to their cultural roots and also provide an outlet to express their emotions, which they have managed to achieve brilliantly.”
“We hope to come up with many such performances by the kids in the future as well”, she added.
Apart from the Ramleela, the students also performed other cultural activities to mark the festive season. The students performed to a packed house which included parents, teachers and other invitees.
