New Hamon Deltak President Named, Will Lead HRSG and Waste Heat Boiler Manufacturer

Mr. Dawes is a veteran of the energy sector and has held senior management positions in private and public companies. His experience consists of over 25 years in the power generation and service sectors.

Dawes will lead Hamon Deltak as it expands its presence as a manufacturer of large heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) for power generation worldwide. “Peter is a tremendous addition to Hamon,” commented Bill Dillon, Chief Executive Officer of Hamon USA. “His background in the power generation and service industries makes him the ideal leader as Hamon Deltak grows its business in the power generation market for large HRSGs, those sized to service up to 350 megawatt gas turbines.”

Dawes joins Hamon Deltak after being President and CEO of a firm in the renewable energy sector. Prior to that he was a Senior Director, Compression Manufacturing for Exterran, a leading maker of natural gas compression equipment. Before this, Dawes was Vice President, Other OEM Services for Alstom Power, which had acquired ABB’s power generation business where he was Manager of Mechanical Engineering. Dawes began his career as a design engineer with GE Aircraft Engines.
