Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Brinkley was a real estate associate at a corporate law firm in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to practicing law, Brinkley worked on agricultural and water policy issues at the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, as well as in the Governor’s Office of Policy and Initiatives and the Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgets
Brinkley is admitted to practice law in Nebraska and Kansas. He is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association and presently serves on the Executive Committee of the Agricultural Law Section, and has also served as the Vice Chairman of the Natural Resources Section. Brinkley is also a member of the America Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association. He is not admitted to practice law in Colorado.
Brinkley is a 2012 Class Member of the Nebraska Water Leaders Academy, and recently has served as a Board Member for the American Parkinson’s Disease Association Nebraska Chapter. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado, and earned his juris doctorate from the University of Kansas.
