Interested parties can visit the Bank’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/BayCoastBank, to vote.

Nicholas Christ, President and CEO of BayCoast Bank, said, “Thanks to all who entered.  It was difficult to narrow down the entries to just five finalists. That’s why we have eleven. There is so much need and so many worthwhile programs.”

He continued, “We wish that we could give to all of them. We are always looking for ways to help the community.  In fact, 30% of the entries were requests for technology, things like iPads and Smart boards. We’re thinking about how to help that group next.”

Each finalist automatically wins a grant toward their school program/project/initiative. Finalists have been announced and are now featured on BayCoast Bank’s website and Facebook page.

Finalists are automatically advanced to the online voting phase of the contest, from which a
grand prize winner will be determined. The grand prize winner earns a $10,000 grant for their school program/project/initiative. Voting ends November 16, 2012 at 11:59pm. Voters must be 13 years or older.
