" The Wild Turkey"
2 oz Sparkling Martinellis apple juice
2 oz Jellied cranberry sauce
1 oz fresh lemon
4 large sage leaves (reserve 2 for garnish)
1 oz fresh lemon
2 oz Spiced Honey syrup**
"Anthony's Montrio Maraschino" cherries for garnish ( these can be purchased at Montrio Bistro)
In shaker glass, shred sage, gently muddle, add remaining ingredients (except apple juice), add ice, Shake, Strain over rocks into collins glass, Top w/ Martinelli's Sparkling apple juice, stir.
Garnish w/ 2 sage leaves & 2 of "Anthony's Montrio Maraschino" cherries
Sip, Savor, Enjoy!!!
** Spiced Honey syrup
1 cup honey
1 cup water
2 star anise
1 tsp. clove
1 tsp. all-spice
1 large cinnamon stick (broken in half)
1 whole nutmeg, crushed (wrap in towel & smash w/ back of frying pan once or twice)
Place ingredients in medium saucepan, bring to simmer, cover w/cellophane, open small section for steam to be released, let simmer for 30 minutes, DO NOT ALLOW SYRUP TO BOIL! It will burn.
Let cool, strain into squeeze bottle or fancy glass bottle.
