Leeds-based promotional branding company, Creative Emporium, expands its marketing team with the appointment of new Marketing Communications Manager
Creative Emporium, one of the UK’s leading branding and promotional merchandise specialists, has appointed Rachael Simpson to the role of Marketing Communications Manager, in a move towards a strategic repositioning of its services.
The Leeds-based firm, whose client roster includes high profile blue chip brands such as Nectar, a long-standing contract with leisure equipment producer Life Fitness, and a recently awarded contract with the University of Manchester and Manchester Business School to provide their branded merchandise – recently added to its marketing team to enable it to maintain focus on the core business whilst opening up new opportunities to expand and position itself as a full service creative marketing agency.
Despite the challenging economic climate, the company has continued to recruit new talent, with Simpson being the latest recruit that now sees the workforce at 42 employees – including 14 new recruits since January this year. “The growth in recruitment is aligned to our significant growth over the past three years, with our forecast to reach in excess of £5m in 2013”, commented Gavin Faulkner, the firm’s Head of Sales.

In her role at Creative Emporium, she will focus on developing the company’s brand, and a marketing framework to provide strategic and creative branding services; a move stimulated through demand from existing clients for the company to operate as more of a ‘full service marketing agency’, offering a holistic approach to client’s marketing requirements. She will work in the marketing team alongside Hannah Potts, who has over 10 years’ marketing experience, and has worked at the company for the last three years. Potts has been invaluable in developing the company’s marketing services and project managing its flagship online ordering system, CO3. Her role will see her working closely with Simpson on the implementation of marketing campaigns for Creative Emporium and its clients, with a focus toward its digital marketing services, and the continuing development and project management of the company’s revolutionary CO3 custom online ordering system, from design and build through to launch.
The marketing team will be enhanced by the firm’s creative and digital team of 7, including a mix of experienced graphic designers, illustrators and web developers.
