Their “Make Someone's Holiday Better” online holiday cash contest is in full swing

In order to nominate someone, contestants must submit a 100-word essay online describing why their nomination deserves some extra cash for the holidays. Contestants are encouraged to then spread the word about their nomination and gather their friends and family together to vote for their nominee.

Entries are accepted from between October 15th and November 15th, with voting occurring between November 16th and December 9th and winners being chosen on December 11th.

Should a nominee win, they will receive $1000, and the individual that nominated them will receive $100 for their kindness. There will be two winners chosen this holiday season.

As of press, there have only been three individuals nominated.

Joe Chura has been described as a “friendly, sweet guy” who could “really use a little extra cash.”

Cathy Schadel is being nominated for her incredible dedication toward the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned Brittany Spaniels, and Caitlin Oliver is the mother of two young girls who is always willing to lend a hand.

The odds look pretty good for these three right now, but submissions are open for some time, still, and things could heat up quickly. Larry Roesch VW has encouraged contestants and the friends of contestants to spread the word anyway they can, encouraging social networking avenues such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Google+.

The Roesch family and their dealership have a history of helping out around the community, and this holiday cash giveaway is yet another way that this local auto dealership enriches the lives of those all over Chicagoland.

Residents with questions about the contest or drivers searching for a new Volkswagen are encouraged to contact the dealership for more information. They stock the latest new vehicles from the popular automaker as well as used vehicles from many different manufacturers. Their Bensenville location also features a state-of-the-art service center on site to help get Chicagoland drivers back on the road when disaster strikes.
