Our process is as follows:
Initial plan design – whether combining various aspects of many plans or using pictures and hand drawn renderings, we develop the initial floor plan along with a comprehensive bid, detailing every aspect of the home. Our estimating software is extremely accurate and provides the client with a price that should closely mirror the final contract price subject to the clients design decisions.
Interior and Exterior Design – Once the floor plan is firmly established, our Designer Experts will work with you to select both interior and exterior design selections. While we continue with the drawing of the plan, you continue making your selections. At each critical stage, Campbell Garrett Distinctive Homes and Estates, LP will update pricing so that you know you are maintaining your budget.
Elevations - As the details of the electrical, plumbing and cabinets take shape on the floor plan, we will also begin to develop the elevations of the plan. The elevations are the front, left, right and rear of the home as viewed from street level. The floor plan dictates the elevations to a large degree and knowing the expectations for the elevations in advance drives the development of the floor plan. A custom home builder with experience knows how to not only make the floor plan functional but also how to make the floor plan lead the elevation development.
Final plan, final selections, and final price. As the pricing is constantly updated at each major milestone in the Plan Design Process, the final contract price will come as no shock to our clients. Once everything is final, we execute a Fixed Price Contract and no additional billing is done unless at the request of the client. Fixed Price = Piece of Mind.
