XYIENCE Xenergy Partners with Statewide Beverage Company Increasing Distribution 45 Percent in South

Oct. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- XYIENCE (http://www.xyience.com/) Xenergy announces a partnership with Statewide Beverage Company, increasing its Southern California distribution by 45 percent. The recent agreement includes access to retailers such as Walgreens, Smart & Final, Albertsons and 7-Eleven. It also includes service station retailers such as Chevron, G&M Oil, United Oil and Car Enterprise, among others.

Statewide Beverage Company is distributing all Xenergy flavors including the two newest flavors, Melon Mayhem and Tangerine Twister.  The relationship gives the sugar-free, zero-calorie energy drink potential shelf space in nearly 900 retail stores in Southern California including San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange and San Diego counties.

“Given Statewide’s ability to put our brand in key retailers and its expertise in this market, there’s tremendous growth potential for the XYIENCE brand Southern California,” said Reuben Rios, XYIENCE vice president of U.S. sales.

In Q1 through Q3, 2012, the brand has been averaging about a 20 percent growth rate in the region. According to Rios, the brand has made huge strides in increasing its presence in military commissaries, especially in San Diego. Another contributing factor is the brand’s entrance into the health club arena. “We are now in well over 150 health clubs in Southern California,” said Rios, noting that XYIENCE’s target market is adults leading an active lifestyle. Since 2006, the brand has been the official energy drink of the UFC ® and its marketing initiatives have been closely connected to the sport of mixed martial arts, which enjoys great popularity in Southern California.
