Cougar Bait Joins Boston's Biggest Thanksgiving Weekend Show

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 30, 2012 - Cougar Bait, the electronic dance-rock group, which hails from Boston, has been added to Scene Stand 2 at the Middle East Downstairs on Saturday Nov 24th. Presented by Unregular Radio, Seismic Entertainment, and Fleming Entertainment, Scene Stand 2 is shaping up to be the biggest music event in the Boston area on the all important Thanksgiving Weekend. The Downstairs line-up also includes Leaders Led, The Bridgebuilders, John Cacciatore Band, The Barricades, The Susan Constant, and Osaka Street Cutter.

History
Since its birth in 2009, the Boston based Rocktronica band Cougar Bait has
been making its mark on the New England scene. Dubbed "Massachusetts's
most notorious new band" by Pulse Magazine, Cougar Bait has built a
reputation on their high energy live performances. In 2012, Cougar Bait led all
other artists by being nominated for five Worcester Music Awards, including
Best CD and Best Up and Coming Artist. In June, the band captured the 2012
Worcester “More than Just a Battle” of the bands at Tammany Hall. Their latest
single “Lovecraft” debuted at #1 on Indie Rock Radio NEGB1, has received airplay on Unregular Radio, WAAF and WBCN, and their video was chosen by the Boston Band Crush as Video of the Week. Earlier this summer, and the band was spotted by Snagle guitars founder and Thai metal legend Donpheebin KidKaewtid, who inked the band to an endorsement deal. Cougar Bait’s Lovecraft Tour has the band headlining clubs from Portland to Providence and all points in between. The band last headlined at the Middle East at the sold out Halloween Hangover show Oct 26th.
