St. James Academy Collects more than 20,000 food items for Catholic Charities

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 30, 2012 - St. James Academy recently collected more than 20,000 food items for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas’ Emergency Assistance Center food pantry in Kansas City, KS. During St. James Academy Annual Food Drive, a competition emerged among the six communities within the school. Students participated in a daily competition among the “houses” as well as the competition called “Can-Struction” where creative structures were built with cans and other food items. The much needed food will be available to individuals and families in need in Wyandotte County.
