Oct. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- With the only film on people’s lips this month being the latest James Bond adventure, Gabrielle Donnelly caught up with Daniel Craig himself for the November issues of family magazine, Candis.

There’s no denying that Daniel Craig really is the man of the moment, especially with 2012 being the 50th anniversary of the James Bond films and the eagerly anticipated latest instalment, Skyfall, about to hit cinemas this month. Skyfall is Craig’s third outing as the secret agent, following in the footsteps of other great actors including Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and, more recently, Pierce Brosnan. Craig has been linked with bringing Bond bang up to date following his first film, Casino Royale, and as the world awaits Bonds latest adventure, Candis finds out exactly what Craig thinks of his alter ego.

Of course, Daniel Craig isn’t just known for his role as Bond and has enjoyed a varied TV and film career. Born in Chester and brought up in and around Liverpool, Craig has always enjoyed acting, starting out in school productions before getting involved with the National Youth Theatre. He became well-known following his role in TV favourite Our Friends in the North before starring in films such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Road to Perdition. More recently his career has led him to star in book to film blockbuster, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and sci-fi western Cowboys and Aliens.

As Donnelly discovers for the family magazine, Craig remains rigidly private and talks very little about his personal life, including his romance with British actress, and now Craig’s wife, Rachel Wiesz. He himself admits that although he loves acting and understands the huge benefits of being famous, being a ‘celebrity’ makes him nervous and he finds it easier to keep his private life private. To read more from Craig, check our the full interview in Candis magazine's upcoming November issue.
