Lorraine Stephens Delivers Professional Development Presentation to Wake Forest Business Community

Oct. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, October 31, 2012, Lorraine Stephens of LorraineSpeaks.com will present “The Keys to a Successful Presentation” to members of the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce and other area business owners as part of the Chamber’s Bag Lunch Network series.

The Bag Lunch Network series is a weekly event, held on Wednesdays, that is designed to provide education on a variety of business-oriented topics to Chamber members and Wake Forest business owners without interrupting their already busy workdays.  The events are held from 11:30AM-1:00PM and attendees are invited to pre-order a meal through The Lemon Tree.  Meals are delivered on the day of the event to the Chamber offices, located at 350 S. White Street, Wake Forest, so that participants can enjoy lunch and networking, while also growing their skills. The events are free for Chamber members and five dollars for the general public.

When asked about her presentation at the October 31st Bag Lunch event, Ms. Stephens said, “Effective communication is the key to moving any business forward.  Business owners who are able to clearly convey the benefits of their products or services will have a far easier time when it comes to selling these.  Unfortunately, many people become nervous when it comes to standing in front of an individual or group to deliver this type of presentation.  I am looking forward to working with Wake Forest’s business community on crafting engaging presentations and supportive reports, as well as the use of technology during a presentation, so that they may gain the necessary confidence to represent their businesses in front of audiences of all sizes.”  Ms. Stephens is a Speaker and Executive Staff Developer who has been working with senior-level professionals to help them develop a suite of executive-quality, business skills over the past 13 years.
