Ford Motor Company Launches The Ford Community Changes Program In Los Angeles: The ‘Name-Your-Pri

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 29, 2012 - LOS ANGELES, October 4, 2012 -- Last week, Ford Motor Company launched the Ford Community Changes program in the Los Angeles area. The program offers local residents the opportunity to visit Galpin Ford for a ‘name-your-price’ oil change service. Galpin Ford will donate 100% of the registered ‘name-your-price’ oil changes to one of four non-profit groups: Heal the Bay, Homeboy Industries, Keep A Breast Foundation or The Pablove Foundation.

The program is designed as part of the Ford Go Further Campaign, in which Ford Motor Company and local dealers have worked to develop deeper community relations, drive social impact and create a genuinely positive impact on the city of Los Angeles and surrounding communities. The program ends on December 17, 2012.

Participants must first register for their ‘name-your-price’ oil change by visiting Galpin Ford Facebook page: www.facebook.com/GalpinFord or the non-profit Facebook pages or by by going to www.fordcommunitychanges.com or. During registration, consumers will have the opportunity to choose Galpin Ford as their location, time and date of service, non-profit and donation amount.

By participating in the Ford Community Changes pilot program, Los Angeles residents will have a chance to get their oil changed while supporting a great cause and giving back to their communities.
