Buford, GA, Resident Is New Ashworth College AutoCAD Training Instructor

Oct. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- PEACHTREE CORNERS, Georgia – Ashworth College, a leading online school, announced that Judie Meltzer has joined its faculty as instructor for Ashworth (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/)’s new AutoCAD training program (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/programs/career-diploma/autocad/).

A resident of Buford, Georgia, Meltzer has over 25 years of experience providing AutoCAD training and production in a variety of disciplines including cellular site, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil/site, and architectural disciplines. She is also proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, GTX Raster CAD, and Sketchup applications.

“I have unbridled enthusiasm for my subject area of expertise which I hope to share with Ashworth (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu) students,” said Meltzer, who was involved in the initial testing of AutoCAD software before it was released as a product. “My experience and depth of knowledge make me a credible advocate for this program.”

Prior to relocating to Georgia, Meltzer owned an AutoDesk software integration firm. In her role as a software support specialist, she provided industry specific product demonstrations and training at customer sites as well as post-sales technical support.

Among her many credentials, Meltzer has developed and delivered discipline specific training for architectural, engineering, and GIS applications; including development of end user training materials for municipal and private sector clients. A certified community college instructor in the state of Florida, her curriculum has received Department of Professional Regulation Approval for Continuing Education Units.

A graduate of Valencia Community College with an Associate Degree in Journalism, Meltzer balances her life with a number of hobbies and interests to include reading, music, watching Jeopardy and Masterpiece Theater. “I also build websites and sketch on any blank piece of paper in reach.”

The Ashworth College AutoCAD training course (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/programs/career-diploma/au...) consists of 13 online lessons that have been developed to be challenging and practical, and can be completed  in as little as six month.
