We'll talk about the pending "right to know" employee classification regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the role of the Wage and Hour Division, the proposed disability employment utilization goal from OFCCP, pay equity and The Paycheck Fairness Act, the likely role of the National Labor Relations Board during the next four years and its policies regarding social media and employee handbooks, and the fate of the Affordable Care Act (aka "Obamacare"). We'll also talk about possible Supreme Court Justice retirements and how the court may change under an Obama Administration and a Romney Administration. We'll wrap up the discussion with some practical suggestions for employers on how to prepare for possible changes in the legal and regulatory environment, and talk about some things employers should be doing now irrespective of the election outcome.
