Miss SCUBA Philippines 2012 Coronation Night at The Lighthouse Subic Bay, Zambales

Oct. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Witness the launch of “Save My Bay”- Save Capones Island Campaign Project as you also watch ten beautiful ladies from different regions hit the runway on November 4, 2012,  8pm at the beachfront of The Lighthouse Marina Resort in Subic Bay, Zambales for a chance to represent the Philippines in the Miss SCUBA International competition in Bali, Indonesia. The winning delegate will undertake a year of ocean conservation campaigns to educate and inspire the public to safeguard the oceans.

The Miss SCUBA International Organization is founded by Mr. Robert Lo, who is also the proprietor of the Sipadan Mabul Resort (SMART) and Mabul Water Bungalows. Mr. Lo is a strong believer in sustainable development within the realms of our marine environment, with the hopes of sharing the beauty and wonders of the ocean world through beauty queens and extended his mission here in the Philippines.

With the recent discovery dive conducted last October 2012 by Mr. George Ang Dy Pay, owner of Boardwalk Dive Center, the Miss Scuba Philippines finalists are further prepared in artillery of knowledge in order to execute their objectives of promoting safe diving practices as well as exposure to marine conservation by attending the International Coastal Cleanup last September 15, 2012.

Hand in hand with the "Save My Bay" campaign project, and in collaboration with other partners for this event, will include several sectors of the government (DOT, DENR, Government of Zambales) and other organizations. This event will engage the community to protect, preserve and learn to co-exist with nature while creating awareness on the current threats in our ocean while promoting responsible tourism.
