Flipkart Launch Men’s Clothing and Sports & Fitness Segments

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 29, 2012 - Flipkart which is known as e-commerce giant in India has been entered the men’s apperels and sports & fitmess segment and expands its product basket. This products basket expands the segment of the company and also giving a good compition to the existing players like Myntra, Jabong, Zovi and lots more.

There are 3510 products included in Men’s apparel  segments with different brands like Adidas, Allen Soly, Arrow, Basics, Angry Bird, US Polo and lots more brands. Its includes 2,435 SKUs and offer like team sports, outdoor sports, indoor sports and other sports and fitness accessories. These segments provides lots of choices to its customers and they can flitered according to price, colours and brands.Here the online customers can find costiest and cheapest products in this segment.

According to Ravi Vora, VP, Marketing said that they offer products across 12 categories currently and in future they also going to expand more products like groceries and automobile in their store. In the last few months this online store has been added many other products categories like pens and stationery, home appliances and perfumes in their online portal. Moreover Flipkart launches its online digital music store called Flyte in Feb and claims it India’s largest legal online store.

Flipkart also registered two new companies namely Flipkart Payment Gateway Services which was apporoved on August 31 and anather one is Flipkart Marketplace Pvt Ltd which was apporved on Septemcer 12 . It indicates that company is all set to launch its own marketplace at the big level.
