WineGeeks called The Prisoner “a hedonistic blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Charbono, a Kitchen Sink, Grenache and a steering wheel from a ’68 Cuda.” Forbes called it “a wine for Wallstreet.”
The Prisoner wine was developed by former U of A student, Dave Phinney. Originally on a path to politics, Phinney was inspired and captivated by wine making when visiting Florence, Italy. Over time, he gained more insight and experience with the wine making process and refined his wine. Now, the annual release of the Prisoner vintage wine is a much anticipated event.
Union Public House invites you to attend the annual release of The Prisoner this Wednesday, October 31st. They will also be celebrating their one year anniversary, and annual Halloween party. Many activities are planned for the evening, and since it is their customary Whisky Wednesday, all bourbon, scotch, and whisky will be half price. Their regular menu, social hour, and reverse social hour are in effect.
Union Public house welcomes you to come and celebrate this year’s The Prisoner wine with them!
