Newest Hip-hop event in Central Florida gives MCs and Producers a chance to showcase their talents

Conscious Mind Records and Presideum, LLC invite you to experience  the 2nd episode of Hip-Hop’s Ultimate Challenge, November 2 at The Bboy Spot in Winter Park, near Full Sail University.

Newcomers await the chance to challenge October’s defending champions, MC SpunkWhop and Producer Alex Beano. Hip-hop’s Ultimate Challenge Episode 1 proved that Orlando does have talent. Episode 2 will feature amazing hosts JaWaan Larue and Spoken Word Revolution’s Society’s Poet. Judges include DJ Niecy-D of Star 94.5, MADD ILLZ of Grind Time Now, and DJ Loco of Quarter to 9 Studios & Production. Special guest performer, DII, gracing the stage.

We would like to continue the trend of building a true Hip-hop community in Orlando. MC Battles have been around since the beginning of Hip-hop, with major battles creating media storms throughout the nation. We are using this concept to create an MC challenge, NOT an MC Battle, in Central Florida. Hip-Hop’s Ultimate Challenge showcases the talent of the artists and beat producers, without disrespecting their opponents and exploiting hate and discontent amongst the artists and their fans.

The challenge features 4 rounds, in which the artists will freestyle over beats by the competing producers. After each round, the judges will make their decision based on the artists’ delivery, and who stayed closer to the subject at hand. The judges will also choose a producer based on whose beat was hotter. The judges will explain their decision and choose the contestants to continue to the next round. Prizes will be given to the winner of the final round, with winners advancing to the Anniversary edition, for a chance to become the winner of the year.
