Carl Petersson has performed as a soloist as well as with orchestras on numerous occasions in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, France, The Czech Republic, Germany and Israel. In 2009 he made his North American debut when he performed with the West Coast Symphony in Vancouver, Canada and the Carson City Symphony, USA. Carl also frequently performs with chamber musicians and singers.
Under the artistic leadership of Maestro Kerry Stratton, the Toronto Concert Orchestra is bred from pedigree musical stock! Internationally-
TCO is … a full symphony orchestra – professional freelance musicians who perform with major ensembles of the greater Toronto area. They are engaged in teaching and studio work, and are artists for whom ‘harmony’ is more than a musical term. It is apparent in their performance and contributes greatly to the ‘audience-
TCO is .. an alternative to high-priced orchestral performances.
TCO is .. for people who didn’t know that they enjoyed classical music.
TCO is .. good people making good music.
And so the Toronto Concert Orchestra was born .. a response to people who told us “I can’t afford to go to the symphony”, “I don’t know what to wear” and “there’s no symphony orchestra where I live”. TCO brings what people want to hear – where they want to hear it!
