Retired Navy Seal Starts a Business with a Future

Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- After serving his country for 21 years as a Navy Seal, Bill Seith decided it was time for a change.  But he knew after retirement he wanted to work for himself, and he knew he wanted to build something sustainable.

He founded Fixit-Express, a Class B contractor that specializes in household repairs.  His company does all the usual handyman tasks that many homeowners find to be too time-consuming or too difficult; things like installing a dishwasher or a ceiling fan, replacing a toilet or unclogging a drain.  His rates are affordable and clear-cut, and he does not charge for a consultation.  Mr. Seith says that, "after  being deployed all over the world from Bosnia to Iraq, I just wanted to be creative and help people, and still take care of my family.  Plus I really enjoy fixing and building things!"
