Soccer Drills on Soccerpilot.com
Soccer Drills on Soccerpilot.com
PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 27, 2012 - The contents include animated soccer training drills, which are divided into ten categories; in addition to five sections dealing with tactics, techniques, theories, social behavior; as well as interesting –and often strange- stories about everyday soccer throughout the world.

Well-recognized soccer experts are part of the editing team, but kids and youth coaches also have their say.

Soccer training on the Internet is nothing special, or so you could assume, but what makes these private initiatives in Europe so successful?

The site owners have a huge collection of soccer drills that are made available to visitors as animations. Even though it has just been launched, Soccerpilot.com has 121 drills, which can be seen in 210 animations. Weekly updates will make sure that the content surpasses more than one thousand soccer drills.

The website deals in particular with children’s and youth soccer. Some articles clearly show, at times ironically, the problems that arise in practice. Be it parents on the sidelines, the joystick coach, or dealing with the psyche of tomorrow’s little stars, no problem is overlooked.

The Soccerpilot-team’s concept –making a huge amount of content available for free and without collecting email addresses- is, of course, risky. Similar to in Europe, they plan to finance the site through visitor numbers, thereby gaining income through advertizing. The calculations are based on a period of two years; by then, the income should cover the costs. Currently, a tool is being developed that has not yet been discussed publicly. In a few weeks, a worldwide login-area will be online; for the first time, this area of the website will not be free. Soccer coaches should be curious about what else is possible, without having to pay huge sums of money. There will certainly be enough excitement.

The first reactions have been diverse. These reactions are not based so much on content, which includes lots of new information, even for experienced soccer coaches. They are based more on the free structure, about which visitors are often skeptical, until they get used to it.

For years, the site has been expanding rapidly and ideas and fantasies have been put into practice. The first surprises are in store for Soccerpilot, but the site owners won’t yet disclose what these are.

Dear soccer coaches, now is the time to learn about and keep an eye on this website: http://www.soccerpilot.com
