"We are happy to recognize this talented Cuban band into our Museum," said Lynette Sawyer of the Hispanic Museum. The Orquesta Aragon will sign the MTV Wall which is full of autographs of the giants of television, film, and music. They continue after famous artists "Tatiana" who signed the wall last month. The Orquesta Aragon of Cuba represent the bands name that appeared in the Caribbean when the twentieth century dawned. In times of the Cha Cha "La Charanga Eterna" took over the pace, and was made famous by Rafael Egues, the unforgettable flutist, who was in the orchestra until 1984 achieving success as the winemaker. The Aragon was formed in Cienfuegos (Cuba) in the year 1939, was founded by Orestes Aragon, a professional carpenter. La Charanga Aragon highlighted its three violins, flute and cello string describing the music that originally played at dances and feasts of the halls of the white bourgeoisie.
