Cropduster Return To Action With Mint 400 Records

Oct. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Some bands from the 90's have traveled into oblivion to never return but Mint 400 Records main concern has always been with releasing quality music regardless of when it was released. It all started when Marc Maurizi the frontman of the 90's indie rock group Cropduster decided to play a local show as "Marc Duster & Friends". This is where he met for the first time Mint 400 owner Neil Sabatino who was playing that night with his band Fairmont. The two enjoyed each others music and began to talk. It turned out Cropduster had been one of those 90's bands who never made it to the digital age. They had two records on CD including the acclaimed 2001 album "Drunk Uncle" which was produced in Hoboken by Machine as well as a never finished third record. Sabatino & Maurizi talked and decided this injustice just could not take place.

On November 6th Mint 400 Records is proud to present Cropdusters debut album and sophomore release "Drunk Uncle" in digital format. It will now be available everywhere online that sells MP3's and also available on all streaming services like Spotify, etc. This is all a precursor to a record release show at the indie rock Mecca Maxwells in Hobken, NJ that will showcase Mint 400's current local roster which includes The One and Nines, Cropduster, Fairmont & Les Trois Chaud on November 10th, 2012.

As Cropduster prepares for this amazing show they also are in the process of culling material that will form their never before heard third album which is being pulled from the last collection of songs that the band worked on in the early 2000's. The band has also discussed releasing B-Sides and other material that doesn't make the cut at a future date as well with Mint 400 Records.

So get ready for an amazing spectacle as Cropduster and label mates rock the Maxwells stage on November 10th at 9pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The show is also serving as the vinyl release show for Central New Jersey's Les Trois Chaud for their amazing debut "Songs Of Home: Volume 1". We hope to see you there.
