Urban Uncut Magazine is a minority owned non-profit magazine dedicated to the community. Urban Uncut is designed to create a platform for urban professionals to exhibit their accomplishments. Our Mission is to provide young urban professionals with the proper recognition and resources they need to obtain success! We provide the pages for Urban artists, athletes, producers, director, and business professionals to tell their story, while we expose the uncut truth about our society. Who better to tell the news than those who are living it.
In every issue of Urban Uncut Magazine, we will feature those in our community that are making moves in their life. We will feature artists (a singer and a rapper), a producer, a DJ, a director, a actress and actor, an urban professional, and a business that is thriving in their field. Our magazine is also sponsoring contests to provide up and coming entertainers exposure and promotion. We feature them on Urban Uncut Magazine’s website, http://www.urbanuncutmagazine.com , as well as in the actual digital publication.
Our Model of the Month program is inclusive of the Next Top Bombshell contest and The Ultimate Man contests. These contests are designed to provide aspiring models access to the world as well as provide the world access to them. Our Rising star program is for children who want the world to witness their wonderful talent. We also sponsor a program for independent artist on the rise called Indie UNCUT. We provide the platform for entertainers to reach the public at large.
All of our featured entertainers and contests are included in polls on our site that allow the public to decide who they believe is the best for each category. The wonderful thing about our process is that it not only allows the entire public access to the individuals but it provides the entertainers the opportunity to promote themselves to get votes. To enter to contest, all participants have to do is complete the application on the appropriate features page on the site, submit the application fee along with the appropriate media requested for the particular feature.
