go:LOL Network is part of the Language Open Learning group who have already established an online learn English program with several thousand students registered since the launch in June 2011.
Ken Thorkildsen, owner of Language Open Learning said, “We have had requested from our students looking for face to face teaching. Unfortunately, we have not had the references to recommend students. This is where go:LOL Network comes into it.”
“During development, we decided to expand the network to take on board all languages, not just teaching English. This is quite an important tool for private language teachers who perhaps do not have the scope for a big marketing program to attract students.
“With the go:LOL Network it doesn’t matter the size of the language school, each member will be able to be found on the interactive map and a search facility that can narrow down the type and the location of the language teacher a student is looking for.
The interactive directory, will include a specific location finder along with the lessons the language teacher provides, a place for recommendations, upcoming events, and a detailed street map for the location.
We envisage it being quite busy and have made plans for this, but at the moment, the directory is free to all language teachers, schools and centers. Registering as a private teacher, the member can add his or her details. With a Language Center Membership– the member can add upto three locations of their language schools plus five teachers. With a Language Pro membership there is unlimited use and additions to the network.
