This week, there were four major announcements covered on GovCon Wire that were included in Mr. Garrettson’s weekly newsletter.

Bruce Phillips was named the SVP of civil and infrastructure security, Rick Wagner elevated to SVP for the defense group and Tom Kilcline will take the place of Wagner as defense business unit VP.

Phillips has worked at the company for 30 years, while Kilcline is a retired vice admiral and was previously commander of Naval Air Forces.

Northrop Grumman made both an executive and organizational change this week when they appointed VP James Culmo to lead the new unmanned systems organization known as HALE.

The acquisition is the 11th cyber-related purchase Raytheon has made in the past six years.

“The Teligy acquisition adds critical wireless capabilities that address the needs of our cybersecurity customers in the intelligence, DoD and federal communities,” said Lynn Dugle (http://www.raytheon.com/ourcompany/rtnwcm/groups/public/d...), president of Raytheon’s intelligence and information systems business.

Booz Allen announced that it has won $295 million in task orders since May under the ESMARTS contract from NGA.
