Diabetes education materials will be available and attendees can speak directly with AMCR’s medical professionals about their health needs. There will be information about diabetes research studies being conducted at the Institute and details on the TrialNet study for early detection and treatment of Type 1 diabetes and local JDRF activities.
Flu shots will be available on site through Alberstons Sav-on. Zumba exercise instruction will be offered for adults and kids and local businesses will have displays and demonstrations. There will be door prizes and special giveaways for all who attend.
