LMI Expands J4 Support with New $5.2 Million Logistics Contract

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- MCLEAN, Va.—LMI will expand its longtime support of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Logistics Directorate, J4, with a new contract valued at up to $5.2 million. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, awarded in September, includes a base year, plus two options to support the J4’s Multinational Interagency Division (MNIA).

Under the contract, LMI will provide support for J4 activities concerning the initiatives of the Whole-of-Government Logistics Council. The Council’s purpose is to improve effectiveness and increase efficiencies of U.S. government logistics by aligning, connecting, and leveraging interagency logistics capabilities.  Membership includes representatives from the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
