Local Business Leaders Donate Funds for Tuition Assitance at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 25, 2012 - Coal Township, PA, Oct. 25, 2012 — The Our Lady of Lourdes Alumni Foundation invites media and public to the presentation of more than $240,000 earmarked for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School and tuition assistance.  These funds stemmed from the Foundation’s campaign for local business contributions under the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC).  Members of the Foundation and those businesses that donated funds will be presenting a check to Bishop Joseph P. McFadden of the Harrisburg Diocese.  

When:          October 31, 2012

Where:          OLOL Regional School, 2001 Clinton   Avenue, Coal Township, PA - Gymnasium

Time:          11:30 am – 12:30 pm

These funds allow families in need of tuition assistance the opportunity to apply through the Neumann Scholarship Foundation of the Diocese.  All the funds collected are reserved strictly for Lourdes.  It also allows Lourdes to use existing funds for capital projects and educational improvements.
