The iLook360 System
The system is comprised of a vertically-adjustable rear-facing ultra-wide angle lens in front of a Silicon-on-Chip micro-CAM, high-speed video processing hardware/software, and a micro head’s-up high-resolution near-to-eye display that is comfortably mounted just above the eyebrow.
Ultra light-weight with simple on-off operation, the iLook360 offers numerous advantages over a traditional mounted mirror including the elimination of blind spots, detection of rear-view movement in the user’s forward peripheral vision, isolation from typical vehicle vibrations, as well as providing a rear-view panorama in activities where there is no vehicle to mount a mirror.
