Wings Wheels Rotors And Expo 2012

Oct. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Los Alamitos,CA - 11th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors and Expo on Los Alamitos Army Airfield, Joint Forces Traing Base, Orange County,CA. Sponsored by the California National Guard and Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce. WWRE 2012 will be on Sunday 28 October from 9AM to 4PM.
See military aircraft including the C-17 and fighters, numerous military helicopters and vintage warbirds. Plus flyovers and displays.
WWRE 2012 includes public safety agencys and first responders displaying their equipment and tools. This year, the event will include an alternative energy village with high tech vehicles.
Expect over 500 cars at the huge car show with hotrods, custom cars and motorcyles.
Car show will provide awards to best cars. See Dale Earnhardt, Jrs # 88 Race Car and other exotic racing vehicles.
Youth between the ages of 8-17 can get free flights by the Experimental Aircraft Associations Young Eagles and guests can purchase a trip in a helicopter offered by Star Helicopters.
Wings Wheels and Rotors will have music, food....including breakfast, demonstrations, vendors and a Kids Korner.
Two seats in the Goodyear blimp will be part of the silent auction.
The base is located in Los Alamitos at 11200 Lexington Drive, 90720.
Gates open at 9AM.....
