The entry with the most compelling and romantic love story will be contacted prior to the announcement. The winner will propose to his bride-to-be on stage in front of thousands of December Nights visitors with an 18K white gold Hearts On Fire Beloved diamond engagement ring, set with 1.20 carats of the most perfectly cut diamonds in the world, and valued at over $10,000. A photograph of the prize ring is available on Leo Hamel’s website. Nine runners up will be selected from the entries and will receive special recognition and a coupon for 20% off an engagement ring at Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers (restrictions apply; see Official Rules).
Last year’s winner, Chris, proposed on stage to his now-fiancée Kelsey. The couple will be married this December, exactly one year later, at Balboa Park’s The Prado restaurant.
