The Royal Melbourne Wine Show Public Tasting - SATURDAY 27 OCT

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 24, 2012 - Wine lovers will be able to taste from more than 3000 Australian wines entered into the 2012 Royal Melbourne Wine Show at the inaugural public tasting ‘Uncorked.’  

On the day will be 21 trophy winning wines fresh from the judging at the 2012 Wine Show, including the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy, the Bill Chambers Trophy for Best Fortified in Show and the new Trevor Mast Trophy for the Best Shiraz in Show.

Over the course of the day there will be a series of masterclasses including what red wines to drink this summer, a session on natural wines and the ability to taste some of Australia’s richest wine treasures, fortified wines.  

To complete the experience, alongside this immense wine offering, will be a selection of award-winning food producers from the 2012 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards.
