Affiliated Announces 2012 Business Technology Solutions Showcase Student Scholarship Recipient

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Affiliated (http://www.aresgrp.com/), a leading Ohio technology and professional services company, recently announced that Farrah Stanley, a DeVry University student, is the 2012 Business Technology Solutions Showcase Scholarship award recipient. The award was presented to Stanley at Affiliated’s Business Technology Solutions Showcase event which was held on October 18, 2012.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to one senior college student who is seeking a degree in Information Systems or Networking, holds a 3.5 GPA or higher, maintains a good academic standing as well as exemplifies strong amibition and work ethic. The scholarship is intended to give students in need of financial assistance the opportunity to further their education in technology.

Farrah Stanley is a senior at DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio and has been employed by Weastec, Inc. in Hillsboro, Ohio for the past 17 years. She and her husband Steven reside in Hilliard, Ohio with their three children.

In addition to the scholarship announcement, more than 100 attendees were on hand at the Affiliated Business Technology Solutions Showcase event on October 18 which was held at The Conference Center at OCLC in Dublin, Ohio. The event provided a unique forum for growing mid-size businesses to learn about a variety of technology solutions and see live demonstrations as well as meet vendors one-on-one.
