PRLog - Oct. 24, 2012 - ATLANTA -- Newest Restaurant Celebrates Opening with Hays CISD Education Foundation Benefit
Applebee’s, the great American grill and bar, announces a new fixture to the Kyle neighborhood with the official opening of the Kyle Crossing Applebee’s at 5363 Kyle Center Drive on Monday, October 29 beginning at 11 a.m. To celebrate joining the community, Applebee’s will host a staff-training event just prior to the opening, which will raise funds for the Hays CISD Education Foundation, an organization that provides funds for educational programs for the staff and students of the Hays Consolidated Independent School District.
“Being a part of the neighborhood means giving back to the community, so we’re very pleased to support Hays CISD Education Foundation during our Very Important Neighbor event,” said Gerry Rush, Kyle Applebee’s General Manager.
The Hays CISD Education Foundation provides funds for educational activities and programs, which have either not been funded or have been under-funded by the normal operating school budget. These funds are used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations.
“We are thrilled to open a new local eatery where guests can come as they are and connect with their friends and family over the great food they love,” said Rush. “We feature delicious menu items at a great value including juicy burgers, steaks, health-conscious menus and plenty of no-fail kid favorites.”
With a made-fresh-daily menu, Applebee's offers burgers, chicken, steaks, pasta and seafood with a selection of signature items. For guests watching their weight, Applebee’s has “Unbelievably Great Tasting and Under 550 Calories” options and smart and tasty Weight Watchers items complete with PointsPlus™ values, and for those watching their wallets, the 2 for $20 (one shareable appetizer and two entrees for $20) and $6.99 All You Can Eat Soup & Salad Lunch Combo are sure hits.
Applebee’s prides itself on creating a familiar, friendly and fun environment. The new location in Kyle Crossing is decorated with representations of local landmarks, events and athletic teams including murals of Lehman High School, Hays High School and Live Oak Academy.
“We are committed to making every visit enjoyable so that friends and families can relax during their time together,” said Rush, “That’s why, in addition to a casual environment that is a reflection of our neighborhood, we also offer the convenience of Carside to Go service, so guests don’t have to get out of their vehicles to pick up their orders.”
Sports fans can catch their favorite team game on several widescreen high-def televisions located throughout the bar area. This fall, locals will love flocking to the Kyle Crossing Applebee’s for the NFL Sunday Ticket on DIRECTV®, making every pro game accessible throughout the season.
