Lovering Volvo of Meredith is Participating in “A Spooktacular Series of Events” Until Oct 31

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 24, 2012 - Lovering Volvo of Meredith is getting in on the Halloween fun for “A Spooktacular Series of Events,” a month-long festival celebrating the fall season. The Lovering family believes strongly in being a part of their community, whether this includes helping out, just having fun, or both. The festivities started October 2 and will end on Halloween, on October 31. Twenty-six local businesses and public buildings throughout the Meredith area will participate in this celebration organized by the Greater Meredith Program Promotions Committee.

The festivities include:
A Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt – Stop by Lovering Volvo and meet their scarecrow, as well as the scarecrows at other area businesses. Participants can also fill out a special game card to be eligible to win the Cauldron of Goodies! Game cards must be turned in to Moulton Farm by Sunday, October 28 by 11:30 a.m. for the noon drawing. A full list of the participating businesses can be found here.

The First Annual Meredith Zombie Walk – When it comes to walking, zombies know best. At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, the Zombie Walk will begin in Prescott Park, with registration starting at 3:00 p.m. Participants should arrive in full zombie attire, and the first 100 to register will get a free goodie bag. The zombies will begin their march from the park to the Community Center, then left up Plymouth Street, down Main Street, and to Community Park for a costume judging.

Monster Mash Dance Party – On Saturday, October 27, following the Zombie Walk costume contest, the Monster Mash Dance Party will commence. The whole of Meredith's municipal parking lot will be closed off for the event. Zombies and other ghouls are encouraged to bring their best dancing legs or steal somebody else's.
