Flavorful Zeto Gluten-Free Pizza Launches at Spedelli’s. In the US, over 7% of the population suffers from gluten allergies. Zeto Life Sciences has developed a gluten-free pizza dough and is launching their long-awaited line of gluten-free pizzas.

The gluten-free pizzas are made using the Zeto™ chia-based flour, as the unique healthy ingredient, and launched in response to the dietary needs and trends expressed by Spedelli’s customers.

According to the Celiac Disease Foundation (http://www.celiac.org), over 3 million people suffer from celiac disease. In a recent study by the Center for Celiac Research, as many as 20 million people in the U.S. suffer from gluten sensitivity and intolerance. Gluten intolerance, or celiac disease, is an inherited autoimmune disease where the small intestine is unable to accept gluten and becomes intolerant.  Gluten is a protein found in grains like wheat, barley and rye. The therapy for gluten sensitive and celiac disease individuals is to maintain a gluten-free diet.
