By: Fertility & Women's Health Center of Louisiana Celebration Day is a fun-filled afternoon in honor of the center’s many fertility successes. This year’s invitees include all 1,678 children who have been born with the help of the medical expertise of the doctors and staff of Fertility & Women’s Health Center. Honorees and their families will enjoy fun jumps, a Halloween costume contest, face painting, door prizes and celebration cake. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or baby item, such as baby food and diapers, which will be donated to Faith House. Each year the reunion draws over 100 families who have been able to build their family with the help of the center’s doctors and staff. Special honorees at this years’ event are Shawna & Colby Cormier of Carencro, LA, the 2012 recipients of the Gift of Hope, a program which awards one deserving couple each year with an all-expenses- Fertility & Women’s Health Center of Louisiana was established by Drs. William D. Pelletier, John M. Storment, and James L. Zehnder in August 2002. Reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Dana Ambler joined the practice in 2011. Their practice offers comprehensive treatment of infertility, including assisted reproductive technologies and in vitro fertilization, treatment of multiple pregnancy loss, endometriosis, tubal ligation reversal and all other reproductive endocrine disorders as well as routine gynecologic care and menopause management.
