Oct. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- San Diego, CA – A-1 Self Storage, the premier provider of self storage in California, announced today their sponsorship of the American Diabetes Association’s “2012 Step Out Diabetes Walk”  to be held on October 28, 2012 at De Anza Cove at Mission Bay, San Diego. The 3-mile walk is the main fundraising walk of the American Diabetes Association. The successful event has been taking place nationally for the past couple decades and has raised more than $150,000,000 to Stop Diabetes. In 2011 alone, more than 150,000 people participated in 130 walk events across America. Collectively they raised $20,000,000.00 to create awareness, support research and programs to stop diabetes.
