Using Flowfinity software, Hank’s Plumbing customized a work order management system that keeps track of inventory, customers, invoicing, dispatched calls, and information about the commercial buildings they service.
Field technicians can access the system and input data from mobile forms within the Flowfinity app on their smartphones. This has sped up the invoicing process and eliminated the need to interpret and enter handwritten invoices into the system.
“Our technicians no longer have to think about a specific labor rate or discount for a specific customer,” says Michael Edworthy, Operations Manager. “Now all they have to do is add the parts used and the number of hours of labor, and the app calculates everything automatically.”
