“Twisted Halloween” Offers Halloween Enthousiasts A Very Different Soiree

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 23, 2012 - (Miami, FL) October 23, 2012—Halloween weekend will offer many an event including tons of Miami-esque costume parties. October 27, 2012 a new party will move into the neighborhood.  It will take place at LMNT event space and gallery in the Wynwood, Midtown, and Design District area of Miami. The location is perfect for this new addition, “Twisted Halloween.” The event was created by Ryan Morales as a soiree where those who love art and all things EDM could convene in true Halloween style. Not donning the barely there costumes, but a place where true enthusiasts of “All Hallows Eve” could show up in their most theatrical, gory, renditions. It will all happen 9:00PM-5:00AM on October 27, 2012.

So where does the ART come in? Created to be a Halloween competition unlike any other, various theater groups and galleries will exhibit their “scariest or craziest Circus Freak Show” displays. The competition is a smaller scale version of SyFy's Faceoff & Hot Set Reality TV Competition where teams design the sets, costumes or props to bring the display to life. Ten (10) artist groups will compete for a cash prize and the chance to be featured in the upcoming Art Basel Edition of Whet Magazine. For those wanting to participate, there is still time. As for the MUSIC, a Groove Cruise preview with New and Former Resident DJs including: Darude, George Morel, Louis Dee, Ryan Morales, Niklis Csanyi, & Benjamin Boom with guest DJs Your Friends, Stanley Prato, Reginald Leger, & Ballistic Billy will create the cool ambiance that will have all the “Halloweenies” dancing till the sun comes up. Three (3) different areas of music: Paranormal Studio, Garden of Evil and the Haunted Gallery will offer a different set of vibes for those wanting to switch it up.

The festivities will be hosted by Lovely Agony & Eve Olives and feature artwork by famed artist Howard Austin Feld. Want to win some extra cash? Get you photo taken in your best costume and you’re entered into the contest!

LMNT is located at: 55 NW 36th St, Miami, FL 33127. This unique complex will be the backdrop for the “Twisted Halloween” fete. LMNT is a multi-use art megaplex located in Midtown Miami. Encompassing all of the arts under one roof, LMNT has a 3000 sq. ft. art gallery, 2000 sq. ft. production studio, State of the Art recording studio, oversize patio, Indoor Bistro, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Sound System, Lighting, Parking lot and much more.
