Follow on Google News | Twin Cities Announces Free “Sidewalk CPR” Training on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012The Program Encourages the Public to Be a Lifesaver, Not a Bystander
By: Twin Cities Community Hospital, Sidewalk CPR Named “Sidewalk CPR,” because the event will be held outdoors, Nurses will provide several training sessions on their “Hands-Only CPR.” In the event of rain, the Sidewalk CPR will be moved indoors. “CPR training can change lives. The CPR we are teaching will help provide blood circulation and increase the chance of survival for someone in sudden cardiac arrest,” says Jan Tiffin, RN, Education Manager at Twin Cities Community Hospital. The Sidewalk CPR program and the Twin Cities Community Hospital Flu Shot Clinic will be held simultaneously and are free to the public. The Flu Shot Clinic will be held inside the Founders’ Pavilion in the Morgan Conference Center. “This is a wonderful way to give back to our community and provide something meaningful that everyone can use,” says Mark Lisa, Chief Executive Office of Twin Cities Community Hospital.
