Follow on Google News | Brighton Publishing releases in print “A Bleeding Brain” a true story by Andrew S. BloomAuthor Andrew S. Bloom takes his readers on a voyage through pain, heartache, and ultimately…triumph!
By: Brighton Press Room It was August of 1988 when Andrew’s headache worsened to an excruciating point, and nothing seemed to lessen his pain. First, he was diagnosed with the flu. Later, he would receive a second diagnosis that would change his life—forever. The doctors had found a congenital malformation in Andrew’s brainstem, and…it was currently bleeding. They said it was a stroke. How could he have a stroke? He was a young and active twenty-one-year- It was in these times that Andrew would cling to those around him, drawing them in close, instead of pushing them away. Ultimately, he would find courage where he never before thought it to exist—within himself. FACT: Of the nearly-800,000 strokes occurring annually in the U.S., more than 145,000 are fatal. “Andrew Bloom relives an experience that has molded and shaped not only his life, but all who have heard—and will hear—this inspirational tale,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “Mr. Bloom offers a story of rekindled hope to those struggling through painful adversities while masterfully guiding his readers along a path toward peace, strength, and victory.” Many people view a stroke, an aneurism, or a brain bleed as a “near death” experience. However, despite the diagnosis, the author graduated from college, got married, had two healthy children, and landed a job in medical sales. And since that August day in ’88, he’s had two more bleeds, undergone major surgery, and faced that road to recovery again and again. Journey with him through the challenges he faced and the obstacles he had to—and did—overcome. End
