Among the speakers was Sarah Pauter, JIT Youth, who spoke about her struggles growing up in the foster care system, only to find herself alone and in need of support when she turned 18. That is when Just in Time stepped in to help Sarah with car repairs so she would be able to make it to work and school. “Just in Time is the place I go when I need help. I don’t have to beg or feel ashamed, they treat me with respect. They are there for me when I need it most.” “We are pleased to support San Diego’s transitioning foster youth,” said PEERS Network board member Trevor Callan. “Thank you to everyone that participated in helping to make an incredible impact for Just in Time’s participants.” “For the second year in a row, the efforts of the PEERS Network will have a huge effect on the lives of the young people we serve every day," said Don Wells, Just in Time Executive Director. "Because of this investment, the cycle of foster care will be broken for hundreds of youth." Event sponsors included: US Bank, First American Title, City National Bank, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosatti, Samuel Scott Financial, Aequitas, Skillstorm, and Ruyle & Ruyle.
