Gordon Dean Solicitors LLP who also have offices in central Norwich as well as Great Yarmouth are taking part in the initiative for the third year running.
Free Wills Month runs every October and sees solicitors from around the country take part of raise awareness about making wills and offering a free legal will to those aged over 55.While also aiming to help people understand why they should make a will, the initiative also works to encourage those making a will to leave a donation to charity.
Philip Bazley, head of Gordon Dean Solicitors LLP’s wills and probate department said, “What many people don’t realise is that most charities depend on legacies for around half of their income. This is a fantastic campaign to encourage more people to make gifts to charity in their will.”
While those who receive a free will from Gordon Dean Solicitors in Great Yarmouth this month are not obligated to donate money to charity, it is hoped that many people will choose to leave even the smallest amount to a charity that is dear to their hearts.
Free Wills Month is running until 31 October 2012. For more information about getting a free will written by Gordon Dean Solicitors LLP, call their team on 01493 856997 or visit their website at http://gordondeansolicitorsllp.co.uk/
