Professionals Demand Data Analytics for the Dominant Business Management Tool – the Spreadsheet

The first new product is a general business edition of the flagship ActiveData for Excel software package. The ActiveData for Excel - Business Edition is designed to meet the needs of analysts, operations professionals and researchers who rely on spreadsheets to make decisions and gain insights into their business data. ActiveData for Excel - Business Edition includes the features most used by customers outside of the audit profession: joining and comparing worksheets (VLOOKUPs on steroids), data mining for cells, rows and columns, summarization, statistical analysis, extensive worksheet management enhancements and workbook navigation tools.

This new product will be priced at $129, with optional support and maintenance. The full version of the product, that includes the extended features designed for the audit and accounting professions, will now be known as ActiveData for Excel - Professional Edition.

The second new release is a French language translation of ActiveData for Excel, for both Professional and Business Editions. The French version was designed to meet growing demand in the Canadian market, particularly in the public sector.

The French release is the second localized version of ActiveData for Excel, joining the Japanese product that was released in 2011. More information on the French translations can be found at www.informationactive.com/fr.
