Professional Investigators of California, Inc. Selects New District Director

Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Licensed Professional Investigator Thomas Haverty has been selected by the Professional Investigators of California, Inc. (PICA) to serve as PICA's South Valley District Director. Mr. Haverty is the Director of Investigations for Strategic Investigative Services in Fresno, CA. Mr. Haverty has been previously recognized for his dedication and service by the California State Senate, the US Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigations, and various civic organizations.

"I am very humbled to have been voted in as PICA's South Valley District Director," says Mr. Haverty. "I am committed to providing excellent representation for the licensed professional investigators in the South Valley District, as well as to all investigative professionals throughout the state," adds Mr. Haverty.

Professional Investigators of California, Inc. (PICA) is an association of licensed professional investigators whose purpose is to promote and maintain the highest ethical practices in the profession of Licensed Professional Investigators; to advance the profession with ongoing educational opportunities; and to articulate and advocate the needs, interests and benefits of the profession before the media, and the legislative branches of local, state and federal government.

PICA is organized into districts throughout the state of California. Each district periodically holds meetings, often featuring a guest lecturer to educate the members about various aspects of the industry. The South Valley District includes the counties of Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Mono, and Tulare.
