Davis Brothers Invent the First Clothing Integrated Mobile Device Pocket - the MDP!

Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Recently, Cameron M. Davis and Max Davis of California filed a patent application for their RF shielded mobile device pocket (MDP) that may be integrated into many types and styles of garments because of the modular design.

“The beauty of this innovation is that depending upon where the MDP is placed on the garment you can text, make calls, check emails, play games, listen to music, watch videos and do almost everything else your device can do without removing it from its pocket/pouch.” said Cameron Davis co-inventor of the MDP.

“That’s right,” said his brother Max Davis. “Having the mobile device ready to roll without digging in my pocket has been very convenient over the months we’ve been testing this. It also looks real cool on the shirts and jackets we’ve used.”

The MDP accommodates, sliders, touch screen and non-touch screen devices. Snap in grid versions of @functShees are in progress and will be released in beta very soon.

The MDP invention is assigned to the newly formed Functional MobileWear LLC, a Delaware company, which intends to market the innovation directly to major clothing retailers and manufacturers.

Functional MobileWear's @functShee line of clothing will debut featuring the MDP which actually stands for Modular Device Pocket.
